The Maharajas started the recordings of the album in early 2022.
As usual, Mathias Lilja took care of the lion’s share of the lead vocals and the lead guitar work. Jens hung on to his rhythm guitar and played all the organ except on I’m On My Way on which Mathias took over the keys. Jens also sang on Johnnie the Walker and Just Another Pretty Face. The electric bass guitar was handled by Ulf Guttormsson, who took the lead vocals on You Know He Did – our homage to both The Hollies and The Attack, who improved upon the original. And for the first time ever, Jesper Karlsson – drums/percussion/flute – did a ‘Ringo’ by taking the lead vocals on Bad Boy, on which he also contributed with the lyrics.
