Danish Mariachi Death Surf group HOLA GHOST's limited 7" single out in January 2026

The End of the Road – New 7” single by Hola Ghost out on Friday the 30th of January!  - The side 1 rocker punch and the acoustic lockdown version of Iron Reich on side 2 are both previously unreleased tracks from the upcoming new album, to be released later in 2026.

Hola Ghost is most probably the only band in the world that combines Rock, Mexican folklore, Country, Flamenco, Disco, Surf, Goth, Punk, Spaghetti Western soundtracks, Pop, and Psychobilly in their own unique blend. With their Mariachi Death Surf music and painted skull masks, sombreros, and mariachi styled gear, they've attracted a growing cult following around the world since their haunting debut. Hola Ghost is an explosive cocktail musically and visually, combining all that you love.

Hola Ghost started out as a duo in 2007 when making the soundtrack for the American horror comedy movie Cannibal Flesh Riot! by Academy Award winner Gris Grimly. The band was formed by Peter Sandorff (ex-Nekromantix) on vocals and guitar, and Jeppe B. Jessen on bass, accompanied by the haunted drum machine Ghost 707. Drummer Kristian Sandorff (ex-Nekromantix) later took over the drum duties, skillfully replacing the machine's haunted beats. The band have since added the horn section “The Haunted Horns” to the live and recording crew. Together they've gained a reputation of a ferocious live band, touring around the world and playing venues and festivals of all genres.

Hola Ghost has released two albums with a new one in the making, contributed to several compilations, released singles, and two EP’s Chupacabra (2014) and Hate & Fight (2018). Svart Records is going to release their new 7” single The End of The Road on 30.01.2026 and it includes two unreleased Hola Ghost tracks: from side A you can find the title track of the 7” incher, The End of The Road, which also gives you a foretaste of their forthcoming album. The B-side includes a “folk version” of the song Iron Reich, which original version was released on the Chupacabra, Hate & Fight -compilation.

The End of The Road is available on three different vinyl editions: Svart exclusive Natural Clear w/ Black Smoke vinyl (limited to 100 copies), White w/ Black Swirl vinyl, and classic Black vinyl. Release date January 30th, 2026. Get your own before they're gone!
