The three Swedish folk musicians and the two Finnish vocalists of HEDNINGARNA invented a whole new genre that fell between all other genres which so often is the case when something new appears.
One asked if this really was folk music when played on rock festivals, where people were head banging and stage diving to this music played on traditional instruments that did not sound traditional and on top of it had the two Finnish voices that hissed and sang in a strange language taken from Kalevala.
To give space for really great sound on this by now classic album from 1994, it had to be a double album, so we included 5 bonus tracks from the CD KULT on side 4.
